Deep Earth Therapy
Together, we work toward letting go of old patterns, developing acceptance and self-compassion, and moving toward a life that feels purposeful and fulfilling.
About Liam.
Liam is a counsellor who offers an affordable, relaxed, down-to-earth approach to therapy. His goal is to create a space where you can be yourself without judgement — somewhere you don’t have to perform, have all the answers, or pretend things are okay when they’re not.
He works from a combination of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness-based approaches, and person-centred counselling, alongside insights from philosophy and contemplative traditions such as Buddhism. This means our work isn’t just about reducing symptoms — it’s about understanding yourself more deeply, learning how to relate differently to thoughts and emotions, and moving toward a life that feels meaningful and aligned with who you are.
He specializes with men aged 18–40 who are dealing with anxiety, stress, self-doubt, life direction challenges, or feeling stuck. That said, he welcomes anyone who feels they might benefit from working together.
In sessions, we might explore patterns in thinking and behaviour, develop practical skills to manage anxiety and overwhelm, build self-compassion and confidence, and reconnect with what matters most to you. Over time, therapy can help you feel more grounded, more capable, and more connected — both to yourself and to the world around you.
His background includes nearly two decades of experience in people-focused roles, which has shaped his ability to connect with others in a genuine and empathetic way. He’s naturally curious, open-minded, and compassionate, and he sees therapy as a collaborative process where we work together toward the changes you want to make.

What I offer
A standard 60-minute session provides a supportive space to talk through what’s going on in your life, gain clarity, and work toward meaningful change. Sessions are collaborative and tailored to your needs, whether you’re navigating anxiety, stress, relationships, self-esteem, or life direction. Over time, regular sessions can help you build insight, resilience, and practical skills to move forward with confidence.
There’s alot of science supporting the benefits of movement and nature on mental health. Sometimes the best therapy isn’t with a counsellor sitting in a room, it comes from the trees. Combine counselling with a little exercise and adventure with a walk through the forest in either Creswick or Daylesford areas, for an informal but hugely beneficial Nature based therapeutic session. These can last anywhere between 2 to 4 hours.
The 5-session bundle offers continuity and momentum in your therapeutic work. Regular sessions allow us to build understanding over time, develop new skills, and support lasting change. This option is ideal if you’re committed to working on specific goals or personal growth and want the structure of ongoing support.

"...I would like to thank Liam for the support he has given me. In times, I felt like to really really give up. Felt like I hit rock bottom. At one point, I never thought I would be able to continue my studies. Liam helped me in ways I cannot even describe. From getting my academics sorted to my financial planning with the university. I mean this guy has been there to help me out everytime. I have never recieved this level of support and professional service in my life. Liam is a gemstone for (University). An absolute representation of what an individual should be like both personally and professionally. More than that, Liam has become my friend. A rare find in this everlasting metropolis city. Please take of care of this guy and listen to his recommendations for the uni and students. 🙏

"...In the last 2 years, I have gone through unimaginable stress. I went through a financial crisis, then personal health issues, my wife got sick and suffered a mini stroke, my children were suffering, and then my wife suffered from post-illness trauma, and on top of all of these, I had full-time studies. Liam, has done an extraordinary job with my case. Without his help, I don't know whether it would have been possible for me to complete my studies at all. He listened to everything. Every week or so, he gave me ideas, support, and positive energy every time. I felt there was at least one place in this foreign country where I could go and share my situation. God bless him."

"...Working with Liam has been instrumental to my wellbeing and mental health. When I meet with Liam I always feel heard and understood. He creates a space where I can speak openly without judgement, which makes it easy to explore things honestly. Liam has a way of offering insights and advice that really resonate and help challenge unhelpful thoughts and behaviours. Our conversations often feel more like speaking with a trusted friend who is genuinely invested in helping you grow. I always look forward to our sessions, and over time they have helped me develop a better understanding of myself, take positive steps toward my goals, and approach life with a healthier mindset. I’m very grateful for the support and guidance Liam has provided and would highly recommend working with him."
